Karthaveeryarjuna, also known as Sahasrabahu (the thousand-armed one), is a divine king and great devotee of Lord Dattatreya, who granted him the power to restore lost or stolen items and unite separated families. This homam is performed by invoking Lord Karthaveeryarjuna with Vedic mantras, followed by the sacred fire ritual to remove karmic blocks, track lost materials, and gain spiritual guidance in retrieving what has been separated or taken away — whether it is people, gold, documents, or property.
The Homam begins with Sankalpam, where the devotee states the intent – whether it is a lost person, item, or property. After invoking Lord Ganesha, and performing Kalasha Sthapana and Navagraha Pooja, the priest chants the Karthaveeryarjuna Moola Mantra and 108 namas.
